Hosting Events at The Butler Café: Guidelines & Pricing

Consider the Butler Café as a venue for public and private events that you wish to host.   Public events are those that are open to all, whereas private events are by your invitation only.  Please see other terms and conditions below.  Contact salon@thebutlercafe.com for more information or to schedule your event.

Public Events
Criteria
  • Events may have a specific theme or focus but must be inclusive and open to all
  • Events must be supportive of the overall goals/brand of Butler and CoolVines – final decision is exclusively that of CV
  • Can be linked with, or separate from, the Art Wall
Terms and Conditions
  • No space rental fee
  • CoolVines will assist in the promotion
  • Promoter can charge to attend and/or for food, but not for alcohol
  • Day/time subject to approval by Management
  • Café counter service must remain open
  • Maximum capacity – 22 seated, 30 standing room only
Private Events
Criteria
  • Any purpose that is acceptable with respect to its location inside a public space. No highly polarizing topics.
  • If event involves music, the music must be available for the entire store.
Terms and Conditions
  • $100 for entire café – group size up to 22 seated or 30 standing
  • $50 for group table only, group size up to 10 seated
  • Unless approved in advance, no outside food or beverage
  • Host is permitted to charge for event but if alcohol is provided, all collection of funds must be handled offsite and privately.
  • Unless approved in advance, store music will remain on
  • Day/time subject to approval by Management
  • Café counter service must remain open

*Outside events include any non-CoolVines hosted events.
